What set up do you guys use for food/hay/water?

My chinchilla currently has one of those food bowl/hay feeder combo thingies, it has a food bowl underneath and the a hay feeder attached to the back of it with a little floppy door thing on top to put the hay in. I recently realized that it is mostly made of plastic so I need a new one (you'd thing I would have realized that when I got it 6 years ago but better late than never I suppose), I don't want him chewing on it anymore.

Should I maybe try to get another one like that but made out of something other than plastic? It is convenient and I do like how it clips to the bars of his cage, but I don't know. I have heard horror stories about those ones in the past, where some chinchillas will try to reach the hay in the hay feeder part if it gets low on hay and end up getting stuck upside down in there, but my chinchilla loses interest when it gets low (but that doesn't really happen because I keep it full) so I wasn't too worried about it but it does give me some anxiety thinking about the risk...

I've seen some set ups where there's a separate ceramic bowl for food and a separate hay feeder attached to the bars of the cage. I wouldn't be opposed to that I think, I mean I have seen some really cute ceramic food bowls for small animals. Maybe I could even get 2 so he could choose where he feels like eating.

I also have been thinking about getting a new water bottle but I'm not sure yet. I thought my water bottle was bad because it leaks if you forget to tap the bubbles out when you refill it (but doesn't leak after that), but it seems like thats kind of the standard for water bottles? Like you're supposed to tap out the bubbles first in most water bottles. I was looking into getting a water bottle that you can refill from the top without detaching it from the cage, but I didn't see any that were leak-proof. I'm leaving home for 2 weeks in about a month and I'll be leaving my chin with my dad, I want to make it as easy as possible for him so he doesn't mess up while I'm gone. Last time I left for that long, I forgot to mention he needed to tap the bubbles out and the water bottle completely leaked out in his cage and then he was without water for a little while (luckily he didn't get wet in the process), I'm just nervous my dad will forget to do it even if I do mention it to him. I'm unsure if I will find one better than the one I already have right not though. I'm gonna hook up a camera so I can keep an eye on him and his water/food situation while I'm gone at least.

Any thoughts/recommendations?
