[BoTW] [SPOILERS] Is there some trick with the Lynels I am not getting?

These are likely minor spoilers, but I figured it would be best to be safe and mark this topic as spoilers anyway.

I normally wouldn't ask because I don't want to find out something before the game tells me..... but it has become pretty clear to me at this point at this game is pretty bad at explaining anything. I mean, there is "Hey! Listen!" .... and then there is literally not even including a digital manual. (I mean, a physical one I understand... but not even a digital one?)

So.... I can't beat Lynels. I... I just can't. I know I am not exactly end-game level yet, and that others would likely laugh at my stats, but I am not exactly fresh out of the Temple of Resurrection with a Tree Branch either....

Many enemies that used to give me trouble I have by now figured out tricks for, especially the Wizzrobes when I realized they can be one-shotted with an elemental arrow of their opposite element. (Too bad electricity has no opposite, but they can still be frozen at least...). The Hinox brothers didn't even give me too much trouble, the black one was a little hard but it got to the point where I was farming the red and blue ones....

But the Lynels.... I can't seem to figure out ANY strategy, they appear to be everything-proof.

Most of my weapons are in the 30s, some even in the 50s, and almost all of my armor has been upgraded to level 3 by now. I have 16 hearts, and I STILL can't come close to beating them!

I tried to take on a black Lyonel (That's the strongest right? It goes Red < Blue < Black ?), and.... well, to be fair he couldn't hurt me much, was barely even doing a heart of damage.... but I could barely hurt him either. Even my strongest weapons were barely making a scratch in it's life bar. It was a stalemate, so I left.

Later while I was on an ice mountain, I saw a blue Lynel. I figured blue would be weaker, so I tried to fight it.... and Holy Hylia just what in the name of Hyrule happened?

I try to hit it with a fire arrow, since... you know.... ice... and it just shrugged it off. I tried an ice arrow just in case it CAN be frozen, nope, shrugged off. Fine then, electric arrow to stun it.... you can guess how it reacted. And no, I don't mean blocked it with it's shield, I mean it didn't even flinch from a direct shot.

... then it spends a while aim-botting me practically decimating my entire life meter in one shot.

So I try an electric spear, because honestly.... spears are kinda broken in this game, you can basically stun-lock enemies with even a bokoblin spear... and it basically didn't even feel it.

And while I am sitting there thinking what else I can possibly do... it charges up and tosses a giant fireball at me..... excuse me? What? An ice enemy.... tossing fireballs?

.... and then it starts teleporting....

WHAT THE ****? Not even the boss I fought on Rudania had this many moves. In fact, that boss was a joke, I was only at level 2 armor at the time and with much weaker weapons, and it didn't even touch me while I killed it in a handful of hits... but this thing is literally everything-proof.

Fire? Nope Ice? Nope Electricity? Nope Explosions? Nope Spears? Nope Great Swords? Nope

Surely, there is some trick just like with Wizzrobes and many other enemies to fighting these things, isn't there? I have tried everything and can't seem to touch them, they just seem massively overpowered with more moves than the bosses I have faced while dealing insane damage and pretty much not taking any damage themselves from anything.

What am I doing wrong? What is the trick I am missing? Again, I know I am not endgame-level yet, but I am not exactly just starting out at this point either. I have been trying to kill them forever to try to level up my barbarian armor, but no matter how much I push myself, I can't figure it out. I mean, I must be missing some trick, right? They don't seem like endgame-level enemies (especially since you need them to get the barbarian armor past level 1)... or are they and it's still just too early for me?
