1. Từ vựng

2. Ngữ pháp

2.1. Although

• Loại từ: Liên từ (Conjunction)

• Ý nghĩa: Mặc dù, dù cho.

• Vị trí: Đứng đầu hoặc giữa câu, nối hai mệnh đề.

Ví dụ:

• Although it was raining, we went out for a walk. (Mặc dù trời đang mưa, chúng tôi vẫn đi dạo.)

• She stayed calm although she was very angry. (Cô ấy giữ bình tĩnh mặc dù rất tức giận.)

2.2. Though

• Loại từ: Liên từ (Conjunction), trạng từ (Adverb).

• Ý nghĩa: Dù, mặc dù.

• Vị trí:

  • Khi là liên từ: Đứng đầu hoặc giữa câu, giống although.

  • Khi là trạng từ: Đứng cuối câu để bổ sung ý nghĩa cho câu chính.

Ví dụ:

• Though he is rich, he is not happy. (Dù anh ấy giàu, anh ấy không hạnh phúc.)

• I like the design. It’s expensive, though. (Tôi thích thiết kế đó. Tuy nhiên, nó khá đắt.)

2.3. However

• Loại từ: Trạng từ (Adverb).

• Ý nghĩa: Tuy nhiên.

• Vị trí:

  • Thường đứng đầu câu hoặc giữa câu, kèm dấu phẩy.

  • Không nối trực tiếp hai mệnh đề, mà thường mở đầu một câu mới.

Ví dụ:

• I wanted to go hiking. However, the weather was too bad. (Tôi muốn đi leo núi. Tuy nhiên, thời tiết quá xấu.)

• This dress is beautiful. However, it’s very expensive. (Chiếc váy này đẹp. Tuy nhiên, nó rất đắt.)

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is a fantasy. Its director is Chris Columbus. It is the first of the Harry Potter film series.

Daniel Radcliffe is one of the stars in the film.

The film tells the story of Harry Potter. He's a powerful wizard. He is a student at a school for wizards and learns about himself, his family, and the bad things happening around him.

The film received a lot of good reviews. People say it's a must-see for teens. I agree because the story is gripping and the acting is excellent. The music is also amazing.

Although Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is a little frightening at times, it is very interesting and full of action. Go and see it if you can.
