Look, so far that I know about Blast (I ONLY READ MURATA'S VERSION) is that he is really quick (as shown when he casually dodged Flashy Flash's attack), he is really strong and can teleport stuff including himself. Now, I don't know he is stronger than Saitama, yet, but if he is suddenly revealed as stronger than Saitama I could really see how. Why? from what I've seen, he seems/sounds like a guy that hasn't been beaten at all or seen limit to his own power. He doesn't even beat any villain anymore and will only come when humanity is in danger, he has been overpowered for a longer time than Saitama and is probably bored just like Saitama, so he just goes around and collects boxes that he thinks is more interesting. We still don't know a lot about that box and why he's collecting it and ALSO (seemingly) GOD KNOWS HIM TOO, so him saying that it's just a 'hobby' sounds like he's hiding something that nobody knows. It looks like he's way ahead of Saitama because he knows a lot more stuff and he also has a bunch of abilities aside from just being powerful and fast. His teleportation looks like a black hole and when he puts his fists together, it creates an infinity symbol that made me think he has some sort of universe-level power (idk the word I'm looking for, but strong) that Saitama doesn't. So in conclusion, I THINK he is better than Saitama because he sounds/seems like a more matured, more experienced and smarter version of Saitama, has more abilities than Saitama and seems to know about GOD somehow.
If you say that he's not because of the Elder Centipede incident, we don't really know what happened, he could've just punch that Centipede softly and it almost killed it, and if you say he can't kill the Centipede, then why didn't he come to fight it the second time it appeared? (if he couldn't beat the Centipede then who could? he probably didn't know about Saitama yet). Saitama even used a serious punch to kill Centipede, so we know that a soft punch won't kill the Centipede.
If something's wrong in my opinion then educate me and really sorry if it's confusing to read or there's a mistake in the grammar as english isn't my native language.
*edit: If you're just gonna say that Saitama will always be strongest because he's literally the main character/that's just the way the story is about, then I have no argument for that.
